Abbeyfield House in Hove comprises two recently renovated Edwardian style semi-detached properties over three storys, accommodating 17 people. Numbers 17 & 19 Aymer Road were joined together in 2017, which increased the communal space and allowed for the addition of a conservatory and improved facilities for tenants and staff. The house features an established walled garden and patio area across the rear of the house, which is a lovely sun trap in the afternoon. There is a variety of single studio accommodation available, all with en-suite facilities.
Hove is a vibrant town in East Sussex near to Brighton. Abbeyfield House in Aymer Road is ideally situated for shopping and local amenities, being just a short walk from the centre of Hove and the seafront.
Hove is full of places of historical significance & cultural value, as well as areas of natural beauty, or leisure and amusement opportunities.
Abbeyfield House allows tenants to be at the heart of their homes, ensuring that their choices drive how the house is run. Welcoming people from all walks of life to create an interesting and diverse group, sharing time and space together.
Abbeyfield House offers comfortable single studio accommodation in our newly refurbished property. Tenants self-cater for breakfast and lunch is provided fresh every day by our House team, in our communal dining area. A prepared light supper is also provided. Tenants can decide where and when to take their meals, while facilities are available within the communal areas to store and heat personal food.
Our communal space and garden have recently been renovated according to tenants’ own preferences and are designed to encourage friendships and social time, with premium tea and coffee- making facilities available for tenants to enjoy together or with their visitors.
The team at Abbeyfield House are available daily from 9am - 2pm. The house staff are there to provide catering and to be a source of support, to aid independence.
We are unable to provide personal care or assistance with medication, but we can help you to arrange any support needed in these areas.
